Cuatro Caminos: Bio
Eddie "King " G. - guitars, percussion, voice
Eddie wrote this from a secluded Mexican beach, or perhaps a prison:
"Cuatro Caminos has gigantic musical chorizos for anyone in need of a fulfilling musical meal.
We don't mess around when it comes to breakfast, lunch, happy-hour or dinner!
Mucho music madness ensues in the in-between times.
Lovingly lapping libations off the tender bellies of spotted iguanas, we have no other mission than to make beautiful music and films.
PM me for my secret salsa recipe, foo."
Ahem. Ok, Eddie.
Ken "Who, Me Worry?" Wheels - Drummer, Filmmaker, Vocalist
Ken's third eye has been open and unblinking since the day he was born.
Several years of beatings and drum lessons only served to brighten the white-hot flame that is his brain. But heat and light draws moths, so Ken's head must always be carefully shrouded.
Part weasel-boy, part Picasso, but all man.
Sometimes the band is left wondering if Ken can speak, when in fact he's communicating sub-sonically and sub-mentally.
Listen closely or you'll miss it, Ken is the heart behind Cuatro Caminos.
MURM - horns, production magic
Matt MURMANATOR Murman never sleeps.
Living in constant fear of wrinkling his white lab-coat, Matt throws down the digital/analog juju that becomes the Cuatro Caminos recorded sound.
While juggling a distinguished career of being a mastering engineer to the indie world's leading lights, Matt has thrown his considerable musical and technological weight behind Cuatro Caminos.
Rubbing his meats to slow-grill and hiking through the scrub are his off-time pursuits.
Very Special Guests - various
Chip McConnell: pedal steel guitar. Providing dreamy sounds for the Cuatro Caminos era, Chip is our sneaky secret weapon.
Nate Miller: bass and vox. Tom Sawyer to our Huck Finn. Nate is the musical spirit that will appear when we need him most. Look for him on Cuatro caminos Burning Man bootlegs!
Mike Powell, aka "Ranger Atomic": theremin and guitar and emergency float-driver. Lovely human being and most excellent musician, Mike puts the outer space vibe into Cuatro Caminos and occasionally keeps us alive by finding us before we die of thirst and exposure.
Andy I. - Bass
Andy I is the proud father of Samantha Xiaopeng.
Master of the low end, fretted or fretless - fret not.
Winner of the Cuatro Caminos Commemorative Cannabis Cup.
Schooled in the musical and computer arts and a fine slow-mo break dancer, Andy stops at nothing to provide Cuatro caminos lovers with the massive groove.
Part of the Connecticut consortium of weirdos and fortunate victims of musical gigantism, Andy is rocking the sarong school of bass hi-and-lo jinks.
